THE COASTAL TRAIL

MUGEL CALANQUES

The Trois Secs massif extends the Soubeyranes cliffs and ends with the Eagle's beak, a landmark for sailors since antiquity. Several creeks interfere in this geological formation with a characteristic profile, in particular those of Figuerolles, Mugel, as well as the cove of Sec. A last resurgence emerges in the continuity of this rocky massif with thegreen island. These large promontories which seem to soar towards the sky are made of a particular stone : pudding, compacted deposit of pebbles carried by a river that has now disappeared. On the sea side, these vertiginous cliffs, as if cut with a sickle, fall steeply into the Mediterranean Sea. On the land side, a verdant flora grows on the slopes, where the most beautiful holm oaks of the National Park can be found.

ALON HARBOR

Its banks shaded by pines welcome walkers on rocks warmed by the sun.

With its sixty meters of sand and pebble beach, this calanque promises lovely moments for swimming.

For the more adventurous, an underwater trail allows you to discover the underwater fauna and flora accompanied by an eco-guide of the sea.

Le Beausset

“After the abandonment of Beausset-Vieux in 1506, the settlement of the community took place on the nipple where the current agglomeration is located. This one, although more recent (a few centuries anyway) is no less rich in historical memories. The city of Beausset is classified as a green station, it is worth a detour. Old Le Beausset

Culminating at an altitude of 383 m, the 12th century Romanesque chapel, built by the Lord Bishop Geoffroy of Marseille in 1164, houses a magnificent collection of ex-votos.

Le Castellet

Evenos

La Cadiere d'Azur

Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer

As for the beaches in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, Lecques beach is the largest. It extends over 1.4 km with different areas for different tastes (sand, pebbles, private beaches, water activities, etc.). To the east, there is also the calanque of Port d'Alon which gives a taste of the calanques of Marseille and Cassis. It is easily accessible by parking. (The bravest can take the coastal path). Golf Frégate

17 minutes by car from the house, the Frégate Golf Club has two courses (18 and 9 holes). An exceptional setting for a moment of sport and relaxation.

The Circuit du Castellet

Circuit Paul Ricard is a 16-minute drive from the house. Grand Prix Formula 1 are organized there. It is one of the most visited sites in our region.

Exit 11 on the A50 motorway, at the roundabout towards Le Beausset. Cross the village. At the last roundabout take the direction of Saint-Anne d'Évenos. Halfway turn left towards Sainte Brigitte, right chemin de Saint François, and finally left chemin des Folies.
